Changes in the atmospheric pressure loading service

Dear users of the atmospheric pressure loading service,

   Several changes are planned:

1) The new atmospheric pressure loading time series is being computed now.
   a) This series will include more sites: all (132) DORIS stations and 30
      DSN antennas used for tracking interplanetary spacecrafts.
   b) This series will run from 1976.01.01 to 2005.02.01

2) The new series will have prefix vsgd_ instead of vsg_

3) Four files will be provided for this series:
   a) all data in BINDISP format (as it was before)
      File name: aplo_bds.tar.bz2
   b) all data from 1976.01.01 to 31-DEC 18:00 of the previous year in
      EPHEDISP format, compressed with tar and bzip2
      File name: aplo_ly_eph.tar.bz2
   c) all data from 01-JAN 00:00 of the current year to the latest epoch in
      EPHEDISP format, compressed with tar and bzip2
      File name: aplo_ty_eph.tar.bz2
   d) all data from 01 day 00:00 of the previous month till the latest epoch 
      in EPHEDISP format, compressed with tar and bzip2
      File name: aplo_2m_eph.tar.bz2

  Changeover will take place on 2005.02.22

4) Experimental time series of Stokes coefficients of the harmonic 
expansion of the contribution of the atmosphere to the geopotential up 
to degree/order 72/72 are computed and available at 
http://gemini.gsfc.nasa.gov/agra . The will be updated daily.
NB: this series were not yet thoroughly tested.
